ELISA KUO DENTISRY
WHAT WE ARE DOING TO KEEP YOU SAFE
We understand you may have questions regarding face covering requirements in our dental office with the recent changes to California’s mask mandate. We greatly respect everyone’s opinion and convictions regarding such a sensitive and controversial subject; however, we ask that all patients and visitors continue to wear face masks in our dental practice, except when seated in the patient chair during treatment.
Although the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention last week loosened its universal masking recommendation for health care settings, dental offices and other health care settings in California must follow the stricter mandate. Everybody (employees, patients and visitors), regardless of COVID-19 vaccination status, must continue to wear face masks in dental offices and other health care settings in compliance with the current state guidance.
We believe in putting the health and safety of our dental team and patients first and have always adopted the most cautious approach regarding government and health officials’ recommendations in response to the pandemic. We thank you all for your understanding and patience as we work diligently to protect the health and safety of our patients and dental team during these challenging times.
Our office follows and exceeds infection control recommendations made by the American Dental Association (ADA), the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA). We follow the activities of these agencies so that we are up-to-date on any new rulings or guidance that may be issued.
